A native if Pawling, New York, Malcolm now lives with his family in Tallahassee, Florida. Malcolm is a graduate of Florida State University, with a degree in Finance. Prior to moving to Florida, Malcolm spent time in mid-1990's in San Diego, California where he was an Electronic Warfare Technician in the Unites States Navy - stationed on-board the USS Milius (DDG-69)

During his time in the auction business, Malcolm has handled a variety of extremely interesting and historically significant collectibles, but his most favorite item would most likely have to be the Elvis Presley Diamond Ring. Gifted to the consignor, Mr. Lloyd Perry, by Elvis Presley during his concert in Asheville, NC. On July 24th, 1975. Malcolm really enjoyed getting to know Mr. Perry, learning the story surrounding this ring and knowing how much the sale of this ring meant to the consignor. The marketing and sale of the Elvis Concert Gift Ring was a great overall auction experience and very successful ~ Fetching a record $124,000+ on the auction block.

Lundberg Art Glass began in 1970 in the backyard of the Davenport, California home of the late founder, James Lundberg. To this day the studio remains in Davenport, California, where master craftsman still create colorful works of art, one piece at a time. From paperweights, to vases and bottles - ranging from antique to contemporary in style - Lundberg melts all of its own colors as they combine time tested tradition, innovation and technique with each piece of quality art glass produced. The Chinese Ivory Table Screen sold in the August 2012 Fine Arts & Collectibles catalog surprised the entire market when it sold to a telephone bidder for $28,750. The 6 Chinese Ivory Table Screenpanel Chinese Ivory Table Screen came under a fierce bidding war between a bank of telephone bidders an numerous Internet bidders. In the end, the battle was won over the telephone by an extremely happy Chinese Arts collector. The Ivory Table Screen was consigned to auction through a private South Florida estate. The consignor was quite ecstatic at the final hammer as this one a very special piece of their family Asian Arts collection.

Along with the Chinese ivory, Manor will also offer ivory carvings from Greenland Inuit (Tupilak), Africa, Japan and South East Asia. The Chinese ivory carvings include Quan Yin, Emperor, Empress, Zun / Vessel, Garden Scene, Gods, Beauties, Ox and others. Some of the ivory carvings are polychrome (colored).
Mid-way through the last century the cultivation of ivory threatened many animals and rightfully resulted in strict laws regarding the acquisition and trade of ivory. Since this time, the ivory trade has been closely controlled. The ivory pieces being offered at auction are all pre-ban and LARGE UNWORKED IVORY ELEPHANT TUSK ON STANDconsigned from estates / collections within the U.S., where most had remained for the past 80-100 years.
Limited supply and increased demand has resulted in rising values for much of the antique Chinese ivory carvings.
